Preseason Softball Clinics for ages 7 to 14
Small group training available in March-April @ AtBats in Boxborough
- Softball All-Skills for ages 7-10; hitting, throwing & fielding skills. Saturdays 3-4.
- Preseason Camp for ages 11-14; offense & defense skills with coach Dani Edmands. Saturdays 2-3.
- Pitching Clinics for ages 8-10 and 11-14; semi-private instruction with coach Allie Hardy.
- Hitting Clinics for ages 8-10; semi-private, max of 4-6 players. Saturdays & Sundays.
- Next Level Hitting, ages 11-14; max of 4 players, detailed personal instruction.
- Catching Clinics for ages 11-14; semi-private training with coach Dani Edmands.

AB Youth Softball

Spring 2020 Registration Open


Registration for AB Youth Softball's Spring 2020 season is now open!  Click on the Register Now button on our home page, The registration fee includes a shirt, a visor, and use of all necessary equipment, except a softball glove. Parent volunteer positions are available, both on and off the field.

Early bird discounts are available through February 10th. Team placement is guaranteed for registrations completed by March 10th. Late fees will be applied starting March 11th. Late registrations may be waitlisted. Family discounts are available for multiple players. Registration will close when team capacity in each division is met.

Divisions offered for Spring
U6 – Kindergarten & age eligible pre-K, T-ball
U8 – Grades 1 & 2, coach pitch
U10 – Grades 3 & 4, coach and player pitch
U12 – Grades 5 & 6, player pitch
U15 – Grades 7, 8, 9 & age-eligible 10th graders, player pitch

Practices/games begin in early April and continue through the middle of June. For all divisions, teams will typically practice once per week and play one or two games per week. Older divisions (U10 and above) may play some away games against teams from nearby towns, and will get to play some weeknight evening games under the lights. 

Special Note for High School and Jr. High School Athletes:  Players who intend to try out for any school team are still encouraged to register and play AB Youth Softball. Players who decide to play for a school team only, will be granted a refund. ABYSB must be notified of this decision before the start of the league's season, April 6th.
