We are very excited to co-host the Second Annual First Responders Charity Challenge Softball Event with the Acton Boxborough Regional HIgh School Varsity Softball and Alumni team!
Last year, this activity was a resounding success and has built a positive presence for our community, our First Responders, and our Varsity Softball players. We are thrilled to host this community sports event again this year, and hope to create a tradition for years to come. As our fundraising efforts continue, we are aiming to upgrade our batting machine, and replace our outhouse style shed.
The date is Saturday August 20, 2022, at the HIgh School field, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The rain date is Sunday, August 21, 2022, same time frame, same location.
The schedule is as follows:
10:25 AM to 10:30 AM Sing National Anthem, Announce Players
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM (game 1) Acton First Responders vs Boxborgh First Responders.
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM (break) Lunch sponsored by the First Responders
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM (game 2) WInner Game 1 vs Varsity Softball & Alumni team
Concessions and tee shirts will be for sale. Tee shirts cost $25 each, are available in any size (youth S,M,L, XL, and Adult S,M,L, XL thru 4XL), and must be pre-ordered by August 3, 2022.
